The playground surface consists of two products by KBI called Flexi-Safe and Flexi-Pave, and Tasch Facility Services is one of the few certified installers. Flexi-Safe and Flexi-Pave utilize recycled tires to create a soft, safe, and porous surface—the playground at Lafitte Greenway is made from 3,400 tires!
The cutting edge technology used by KBI also allows rainwater to be absorbed back into the earth, rather than creating puddles and standing water.

Flexi-Safe and Flexi-Pave by KBI is an excellent playground solution for school maintenance and park maintenance, and Tasch Facility Services is the certified installer that can make it happen. The Flexi-Safe and Flexi-Pave surfaces have reduced maintenance expenses and a longer lifespan than traditional alternatives because there is no need to make repairs due to breakage or settling.
The surface also meets Federal ADA Standards, ensuring that the play surfaces and access paths are safe for wheelchairs and walkers.
